Duo-Safety Replacement Halyard Rope
Rope is pure manila rope. This option offers the least expensive and best combination of desirable features available in rope today:
- Soft - not stiff
- Abrasive - does not slip in gloves
- Will not stretch with heat exposure
- Has a minimum yield of at least 825 lbs. (No ladder requires more than 75 lbs. to raise)
We have rope available in two sizes: 3/8" and 1/2".
Safety Note
All ground ladders shall be service tested per NFPA-1932(current edition), before being put into service for the first time, at least annually, anytime it is suspected as unsafe, subjected to impact, overloading, exposed to direct flame, when a heat label turns dark and always after being repaired unless that repair is only changing out rope/halyard.
